Ros was quoted in New Model Adviser explaining that the General Election being called has meant no legislation has been passed to end the charges disclosure problem for investment companies.
Ros published a column in Citywire, responding to an article that suggested changes to investment company charge disclosures would be damaging, rather than helpful. She explains that this issue is widely misrepresented and misunderstood and needs urgent resolution.
Ros is quoted in a Citywire article criticising her Private Members Bill and the calls for proper transparency on charges disclosures, so investors are not misled.
Ros was quoted in an article in The Times, about why charge disclosure rules that deter buyers from UK investment trusts are so damaging to the economy and resulting share buybacks are preventing investment in important sectors
Ros wrote An Opinion Column for inews explaining why it is right to commit to ensuring those pensioners with incomes at or below the new state pension should not be dragged into the tax net.
Ros appears on GB News explaining the advantages of the proposals to ensure pensioners living on incomes at or below the full new State Pension level do not pay tax, otherwise millions more elderly people will need to fill in tax returns and create an administrative nightmare.
Ros is quoted in the Daily Telegraph, commenting on scare stories which erroneously suggest the State Pension system will run out of money if National Insurance is abolished. This is just not true, as state pensions are funded from general taxation, not a dedicated fund.
Ros was quoted in Citywire commenting on AIC concerns that much needed charge disclosure rules are being delayed, but explaining that Labour and LibDems supported these changes, so hopefully the matter will be addressed by any new Government, whoever wins.
Ros is quoted in the Daily Express suggesting councils are failing to keep up with demand for social care and that this needs to be a national priority not parcelled out for local funding. ( link to pdf )
